Chief Compliance Officer

Anup Achuthan is the Chief Compliance Officer at Capital India Home Loans Limited, bringing over 23 years of pan-India experience across the housing finance ecosystem. He has led key initiatives across the Three Lines of Defence—business, risk, and assurance—strengthening governance, compliance culture, and regulatory alignment. Anup played a pivotal role in developing HDFC Ltd.’s Risk-Based Internal Audit framework and was part of the integration team during the HDFC Ltd.–HDFC Bank merger. He is acknowledged for his leadership in policy formulation, control implementation, and engagement with stakeholders.

Anup holds an LLB from Mumbai University, an MBA from the School of Management Studies, and a B.Sc. from the University of Madras.
