Mr. Satrajit Bhattacharya

Executive Vice Chairman

Mr. Satrajit Bhattacharya has over 30 years of experience in areas such as Merger and Acquisitions and Equity Investments. He spent 28 years with India’s leading Mortgage Finance company, Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd (HDFC Ltd) where he headed the investments and M&A functions. Besides being an important member of the planning and strategy team, he managed and led special task forces to manage various projects related to the above-mentioned domains. Mr. Bhattacharya identified and championed the entry of the HDFC group into the student loan business through HDFC Credila. He also conceptualized and led the entry of HDFC Ltd into the affordable housing loan market. As head of M&A, he has led some of the most marquee M&A transactions in the financial services space in India. He also handled the first few Masala Bond issuances by HDFC Ltd., including the first Masala Bond Issuance by any private sector company in India. Satrajit started his career with the Securities and Exchange Board of India in 1992 before moving to HDFC in 1995.

He left the HDFC group in 2023 upon the merger of HDFC Ltd. Into HDFC Bank. His last designation with the HDFC group was as Senior General Manager and Head Investments & M&A while also being the Chief Executive Officer of HDFC Investments Limited.

Mr. Anil Kothuri

Mr. Anil Kothuri is a seasoned leader with over twenty nine years of rich experience across various asset businesses including Mortgage, SME Financing, Auto Loans, Share Finance and Unsecured Lending. In his last assignment he served as Managing Director and CEO at Fedbank Financial Service Ltd where he was instrumental in strategic growth of the company. Prior to this, he has also headed the Retail Lending Business of the Edelweiss Group and has also worked in Citibank where he led key assignments across functions in Audit, Operations, Sales, Product Management and Marketing. Mr. Kothuri holds Bachelor's degree of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering and Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the IIM Ahmedabad.

Dheeraj Devata

Nominee Director (on behalf of Gaja Capital India Fund 2020 LLP)

Mr. Devata is a Partner at Gaja Capital. He has over 15 years of experience and currently leads Gaja Capital’s investments in the enterprise software/SaaS, banking and financial services, and education sector. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School where he was on the dean’s list and a bachelor's degree in commerce. He is a Chartered Accountant, a certified chartered financial analyst of CFA Institute and a certified financial risk manager by Global Association of Risk Professionals and holds. Prior to joining Gaja Capital, he was associated with WestBridge Capital and ICICI Prudential Asset Management

Mr. Sanjiv Chadha

Mr. Sanjiv Chadha is the retired MD and CEO of Bank of Baroda. Under his leadership, Bank of Baroda transformed into a technology-driven, highly profitable entity, becoming the fourth largest bank in the country.

Prior to leading Bank of Baroda, Mr. Chadha served as the MD and CEO of SBI Capital Markets Limited. He was also the Chairman of SBICAP Ventures Limited., where he launched the Swamih Fund.

Additionally, he led SBI’s UK operations and successfully established SBI’s UK subsidiary. In a 32 (thirty two) year career at State Bank of India, Mr. Chadha served for an extended period in the Corporate Credit division and his other assignments included Executive Secretary to the Chairman, State Bank of India; Group Head, M&A and Corporate Advisory, SBI Capital Markets and CEO, SBI Los Angeles

Ms. Madhumita Ganguli

Madhumita Ganguli brings decades of leadership in Indian housing finance. At HDFC Ltd., as Member of Executive Management, she led All-India Retail Business and key initiatives enhancing transparency, customer experience, and efficiency. She played a pivotal role in the HDFC–HDFC Bank merger, strengthening compliance and governance. A strong advocate of ethics, she chaired HDFC’s Internal Complaints Committee and served on the Board’s Risk and Audit Committee. She’s been invited to national and international housing conferences as a subject matter expert. Ms. Ganguli continues to advise businesses across financial services, education, and legal tech. Her expertise spans affordable and prime housing finance, regulatory engagement, and customer-centric strategies.

Mr. Harshil Mathur

Mr. Harshil Mathur is a prominent Indian entrepreneur and the co-founder and CEO of Razorpay, a leading fintech company revolutionizing digital payments in India. Razorpay, now processes more than a third of all online payments in India and accepts payments from more than 50 banks and credit card providers. Born and raised in Jaipur, Rajasthan. He pursued his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, graduating in 2013. Before founding Razorpay, Harshil briefly worked as a Wireline Field Engineer at Schlumberger in Mumbai.
